Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions through this site.
Purchasing
We advise clients to obtain a sample of their chosen fabric, wallpaper or trimming before ordering to ensure that you are happy with the product; our returns policy has more information on returning products. Shades can sometimes vary slightly between samples and batches, so if the colour match is critical please tick the 'stock cutting' checkbox when placing your order.
fabrics4less reserve the right to change product prices without prior notice. You can guarantee a price for 7 days by clicking the “Save as Quote” link displayed next to each item in the basket. If you order the quote after the 7 day period has elapsed, the most recent price for that product will be used when calculating the order total. You will be notified of any changes when you add the quote to your basket.
All goods are subject to availability, and full refunds will be given immediately if for any reason your order cannot be fulfilled by the Fabric Company within the required time scales. We cannot be responsible for delays beyond our control.
Our minimum order quantity is one metre for fabrics and one roll for wallpapers, unless a higher amount is imposed by a particular Fabric Company.
Fabrics to be used for upholstery need to comply with the Furniture and Furnishing Fire Safety regulations which came into force in 1988. If they do not meet regulations, your Upholsterer may be able to use an Interliner or we can arrange for fabrics to be back coated - please contact us for further information.
If you are asking us to send your fabric to a third party, such as a curtain maker or upholsterer, please provide them with a sample of your chosen fabric, so that they can verify your fabric upon receipt.
Prices include UK VAT for all customers within the UK and EU VAT territories.
Delivery
There is a charge of £10 per order for delivery within mainland UK. For all other destinations, please contact us prior to placing an order.
We would normally expect your order to be dispatched to you within 7 to 10 working days. If you are working to a deadline, please let us know when placing your order.
Some fabric companies hold their main stock outside of the UK and so some orders may on occasion take slightly longer than this.
Should we find that your order is likely to be delayed, or the item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible.
These delivery timescales are approximate, and we cannot be held responsible if delivery takes longer than expected.
All goods are subject to availability, and full refunds will be given if for any reason your order cannot be fulfilled by the Fabric Company within the required time scales.
Please note: Orders can only be sent to a single address. If you require that part of your order be sent to a different address, please order those items separately.
Returns
- Please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your order should you have any query.
- Whilst every effort s made to ensure that you receive the required goods in the best possible condition, please inspect your good carefully upon receipt. In the unlikely event that you receive faulty goods, please contact us immediately and we will replace these free of charge. Please note that no refunds can be given once goods have been cut, treated or altered in any way.
- Should you realise that you have ordered the wrong product and wish to return goods that are not faulty, this may be possible - please contact us to discuss this. Goods can only be returned to us after agreement has been confirmed in writing.
- Fabric Companies do not accept back less than 5 metres of fabric or 5 rolls of wallpaper.
- The Fabric Companies do impose restocking fees or handling charges - typically 25% of the order value, and so a full refund would not be possible. All costs relating to postage for returns are the buyer's responsibility.
- Please note that no refunds can be given once goods have been cut, treated or altered in any way.
- Any goods returned must be in their original condition and in the original packaging.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
